Mecho Design Inc. is an independent, licensed
mechanical engineering design company run
by Kaitlyn Yan as a freelance mechanical
engineer. Based in Toronto, ON, and working
with teams globally, we provide one-on-one
personalized attention.
We help hardware and product teams design,

Founder's Bio
I'm Kaitlyn, the Founder and Lead Mechanical Engineer of Mecho Design. I specialize in taking mechanical systems from concept to production. I have nearly 7 years of experience as a lead mechanical engineer, leading the development of LiDAR systems, medical devices, industrial design, and physical consumer products and a proven track record of leading engineering teams through complex projects from concept to shipping.
